Job TitleTechnical Superintendent

DescriptionTwo Technical Superintendent positions are immediately available: 1. Mobile, Alabama 2. Jakarta, Indonesia Primary duty is the day to day technical management of 2-3 ships, providing technical advice to the ship crew, organizing shore side repairs and services (including dry dockings), managing technical budget and reporting to upper management. The position will liaison with internal customers, Class, Flag State and other regulatory bodies as needed to maintain vessel compliance with all Class, Domestic and international laws.

RequirementsRequires a B.S. degree in Marine Engineering or equivalent , 8-12 years experience sailing as a licensed senior engineering officer on slow speed diesel vessels. Previous Superintendent experience and knowledge of NS5 software, ISM/ISO management system compliance is a plus. Must be fluent in English, written and oral, and good knowledge of marine, safety, maintenance and regulatory regulations. This position requires travel and the individual must be able to be reached during non-office hours.
