Waterman Steamship, originally founded in 1919, is a deep sea ocean carrier operating U.S. Flag vessels in liner service and time charter contracts. Liner service includes scheduled Pure Car/Truck Carrier vessel transit between the United States and Middle Eastern ports. UNITED OCEAN SERVICES – Jones Act Domestic, Sulphur & Energy Enterprise

United Ocean Services, originally founded in 1959, provides marine transportation services for drybulk and breakbulk commodities. Additionally, United Ocean Services currently operates the largest U.S. Flag Jones Act drybulk fleet.

LCI Shipholdings

LCI Shipholdings was founded in 1968 and engages in waterborne commerce throughout the world. Additionally, LCI operates Pure Car/Truck Carrier vessels on time charters for Far East customers.

East Gulf Shipholding

Founded in 2007, East Gulf Shipholding owns one Pure Car/Truck Carrier vessel and four handysize double hull dry bulk carrier vessels delivered in 2011 and 2012.

CG Railway, Inc.

Founded in 2000, offers competitive alternative rail-ferry service to and from points east of the Mississippi River in the United States to those in Mexico City and southern Mexico. Capabilities include fast freight transit, multi-vessel sailings, the ability to carry all types of railcars, improved transit times, improved utilization of private railcar fleet, and single bill of lading and invoicing. SERVICES:

Brokerage & Chartering – ISH through its strategically placed offices internationally and domestically, has established a Chartering and Brokerage division that is a market leader in the field of Dry Cargo Chartering. The knowledge and experience of our broking operation can thus be most effectively managed to bring accretive opportunities to ISH and its subsidiaries. Our specialists focus on specific markets, vessel sizes and commodities in order to maximize the efficiencies of our fleet. Our Brokering and Chartering division handles all bulk carrier sizes from mini through to the largest Cape sizes as well as specialist bulk carriers, combined carriers, general cargo vessels and container-ships. Cargo coverage includes coal, iron ore, grains, bauxite & alumina, steel products, sugar, fertilizers and many other commodities on a worldwide and short sea shipping trades.

Ship Management Services – LMS Shipmanagement was established to provide consolidated support for all the vessels under ISH and deliver a high level of service whilst generating economies of scale within the total fleet. LMS has contracted with a world wide shipmanagement company to manage the day to day operations of the ISH foreign flag fleet. U.S. Flag fleet is handled in house under the supervision of LMS.

Worldwide Agency Network – ISH over the years has established a worldwide network of agents, dedicated to upholding the highest standards of integrity, quality and professionalism and delivering agency services to the shipping industry. Our agency network exists to promote operational excellence to our ever growing fleet of vessels. ISH presently has agency agreements throughout the world with companies representing our interests.

Railcar Repair Facility – Frascati Shops, Inc. is a full service shop equipped for light and heavy railcar repairs and custom modifications. We are AAR M-1003 certified with experienced and qualified personnel. We are located alongside the Port of Mobile with connections to CSX, NS CN, AGR, BNSF, and KCS rail carriers. Learn More
