Here is an overview of International Shipholding Corporation's ("ISC") various types of vessels.

Our fleet of eight Pure Car/Truck Carriers (PCTC’s) includes five U.S. Flag PCTC’s (including the Green Lake pictured above) and three international flag PCTC’s. These vessels operate under charters with two shipping companies carrying Toyota, Honda, and Hyundai automobiles.

We placed the world's first two LASH vessels into operation in 1969 and 1970 and have continued as a leading owner and operator of this type of ocean transportation. Our LASH system operations include two large ocean carriers and a fleet of LASH Barges.

The Sulphur Enterprise (pictured above) carries molten sulphur in bulk from Louisiana and Texas to U.S. Gulf ports under a long-term contract with a large mineral resource company.

The Maj. Stephen W. Pless (pictured above) is one of three U.S. Flag Roll-On/Roll-Off vessels that we operate under a contract with the Military Sealift Command for use by the United States Navy in its maritime prepositioning ship program.

We operate a Rail-Ferry service between the U.S. Gulf and Mexico utilizing our two special purpose vessels that were modified to operate as Roll-on/Roll-off vessels. The Banda Sea (pictured above) is one of these two ships, each of which has the capacity to carry 60 standard gauge rail cars.

The Energy Enterprise (pictured above), our self-unloading, conveyor-belt equipped U.S flag bulk Coal Carrier, carries coal in the coastwise and near-sea trade.
